If it is early in college, you can join ROTC if the branch you want to join has one on your campus. If you are in the military as enlisted, check with your chain of command about what programs are available for advancement to officer. You can also join the national guard. They will generally send you to an officer school if you have a junior level education in college. There are other ways to do it to. Talk to a recruiter.

What is the best piece of advice you ever got from your mother or father? (Or someone whose advice you value.)
Mine, from my mom, was this: Don't waste time worrying...little things are not important, and big things take care of themselves!

i'm 15 before my dad died, he sat up in his hospital bed and said
you never no what life's gonna throw at you, you can be 8 or 48 and you'll never know. so take each day s it comes, try your best and roll with the punches
this basically taught me to be brave and optimistic which has helped me through a lot, including his death

I mean, he's jealous everytime I talk about a guy other than him or even talk TO a guy other than him. He has a low self-esteem (I can tell this, even though he'd never admit it) and thinks that I would blow him off and run off with any male that's not him. You have to constantly reassure him how much you love him and he is the only one for you. It's natural for any guy to be jealous if you talk to or about another guy infront of him. The worse thing to do, if you say are just going to lunch with a friend, guy friend in particular just tell him you are going to lunch with this guy friend. Never hide it, cause if he finds out, even if it was nothing he would be even more jealous and wont trust you as much.
But the best is to look in to his eyes hold him and tell him you love him. Constantly reassure him this. Might sound tedious, but I guarantee you this will work. Give it some time and he will come around and know how you feel about him.

You are right. He needs to go. And the fact that he could have sex with you shortly after having it with someone else is no indication. He could have showered up, or it could have been just oral that time (which would explain why he didn't use the condoms). If you want a final proof, just so you don't regret this later, find out which bar he went to, call them and ask them if they were handing out condoms, and if so, how many and what kind. You could also call the wife of one of his co-workers and ask her what time did her man come home that same night (make sure you ask the wife of a co-worker, 'cause his co-workers will probably lie for him).
But honestly, it would have to be the greatest coincidence in the world if he didn't cheat on you and all these things he says happened really took place. The evidence says - he's a cheater and since he's a cheater you can't believe any explanations for that evidence from him.
Do one final check on him if you wish, but I'm sure you've made the right decision, now make sure he doesn't weasel out of it. If he's not man enough to admit his mistake and be willing to beg your forgiveness for the rest of his life, then he doesn't deserve a second chance.
P.S. For a car salesman, he turned out to not be a very good liar ...
usually a girls intuition is good and if you believe that he is cheating, chances are he could well be. All the things that you have found also points to him being guilty. It's up to you want you want to do but why be with someone that you can't trust?

The only person who knows if he is guilty or not is him. It sounds like you are spending a lot of time trying to discount everything he does, and disprove any of the other possibilities outside of cheating.
If you spoke with him, and he tells you he is not cheating, you have to either give him the benefit of the doubt and continue the relationship, or you basically go with your gut and leave. If you continue to stay in the relationship with all of these suspicions, you are not making it any better on the relationship, or on yourself.
The worst thing is not knowing. But if you confronted him, and he denies, and you still feel strongly about it, just leave. It's not healthy for either of you to stay on that level.
I'm not saying I believe he's innocent or guilty. It's not my place to say that. I'm just saying, I've been where you are, and I just made things worst by sticking around in the relationship and trying to find more dirt. By the time the dirt did come to the surface, a lot of damage (no physical) had been done, that could have been avoided if I had just left when I had the strong suspicions.
In the end, it's all about you and your feelings and well being.

it is a gr8 time 2 have this procedure done. they have made so many changes 2 make it safer. the insicion they use isnt as big there is rarely any scaring. tell her they put her out for the procedure en though she will be sore for a couple of weeks tell her not 2 worry the outcome is going 2 be ok.

After that you stretch.Then do 4 sets of 25(100) pushup's.In between each interval you need to do 25 situp's.Keep swithching out at the intervals and when you're through, do about 20 curls with however much you think you can lift.As time passes you need to add on wieght to everything you lift.Then you should do 5 reps of however much you can bench.Repeat the whole process over 3 times.(except for the push-up's and sit-up's) and you'll get ripped in no time. Do this 5 days a week.

In terms of working out workout 5 days a week at the gym. do chest and tri's,back and bi's, legs and abs, shoulders and lats, and last day start over with watever ur wanting to build the most. For mass u need low reps(about 5) and high weight.
for abs u need to lose the fat on ur stomach, so do cardio in the beginning or end of ur owrkout.
for eating jsut eat anything healthy, b ut a high protein diet, and get ur veggies and carbs for energy. lastly u need about 3000 calories i'd say for mass, or more, and u need about half a gallon of water a day

This varies for everyone, but on average, most women will ovulate 14 day (give or take a few) after the 1st day of your last period. So once you start your period, count out 1.5-2.5 weeks out and try to have sex every other or every third day during the next week or so. Oh, and try to relax about the whole thing, i know its hard when you want to get pregnant and you are very excited about the whole thing, but any extra stress can interfere with conception. I found that I just needed to get of out town and relax for a few days and then i conceived the next time I ovulated! I know its tough, but try to chill.... :) Good Luck!

This varies for everyone, but on average, most women will ovulate 14 day (give or take a few) after the 1st day of your last period. So once you start your period, count out 1.5-2.5 weeks out and try to have sex every other or every third day during the next week or so. Oh, and try to relax about the whole thing, i know its hard when you want to get pregnant and you are very excited about the whole thing, but any extra stress can interfere with conception. I found that I just needed to get of out town and relax for a few days and then i conceived the next time I ovulated! I know its tough, but try to chill.... :) Good Luck!

The first time me and my husband tried i found out i was pregnant 2 weeks later. my family is very fertile. my first daughter it took a couple of months. boost your sex up alittle. you can get on the internet and find out the days your most fertile on. you just type in your period start date and it does it for you. try it and see what happens. whatever date they tell you have sex on or around those days big time. good luck.

I have never heard of a citizens advice bureau. There are marriage guidance counsellors who can help with specific problems...or trained sexual assualt counsellors who help in that area. There are financial planners who help with money problems, so I guess it all depends on what your specific problem is that will determine what help you seek.

HELP!! I get teased at school all of the time.... because I have dental promblems... so i cannot speak right. any advice on howto get them off of my back? Just make sure you are absolutely sure that you've picked out the right design, because getting it taken off costs about 10 times more, and it's about 10 times more painful! Also, make sure you go to a respectable shop that is certified and recommended by the health department. (You can find this out by calling the health department and asking them!) It is also a good idea to make sure they are certified by the American Tattooist Association, in order to show you this, they will usually have some sort of certificate on the wall. And another thing is to make sure they have an autoclave that is certified by the health department, make sure they use sterile ink cups instead of dipping in to the bottle, and also make sure they have a clean shop, and that they change their gloves regularly. For example, if they answer the phone or something while tattooing you, make sure they change their gloves when their done!

My employer is one of those so make sure that your tattoo is not readily visible like on the face, neck, wrists, hands, lower arms etc so it can be covered up if needed.
I actually thought about things I wanted on me forever rather than just ';wanting a tattoo.'; Things that were important to me. Things relating to my family and such. That and just looking for designs and pictures and whatnot that I liked the look and style of. It's not about making up your mind. It shouldn't be a decision like that, it should come naturally. When you see it, you'll know it.

Actually one day when I was searching the internet I came across a really cool picture of a bleeding rose. But it wasn't exactly what I wanted. So I took it to my artist and had her rework it a bit and it is so awesome!
As for placement both of mine are in places that won't be seen unless I want them to be seen. It is just my preference. Once day I would like to get one ';out in the open'; - but for now I like the discretion of hidden tattoos.

I've got two. A dragon on my back right shoulder and a celtic tributary on the inside of my left wrist. I decided on those not because I thought they looked cool but for each one to represent something. My dragon stands for me being born in the year of the dragon and the tributary is for me and my two best friends. Each of us got on to show that we would be sisters not just friends, As far as where to get them I spent about a week trying to in vision where I would put it and if it could be covered if need be and if i could live with it there forever. once you insurance is back ask to be sent to an infertility specialist. they will run tests that OB/GYN won't.
with irregular periods means irregular or no ovulation which can make getting pregnant tricky.
PLUS, you don't want to be pregnant and NOT have insurance - that is just silly!!!

I'm not saying that your dr. is wrong, but it doesn't sound to me that you're okay if your periods are irregular like that. You need to see if you're ovulating - your dr. can run a blood test to check your progesterone levels during the last part of your cycle (usually around day 21 if you have ';normal'; 28-day cycles, later if you have longer cycles). This should tell if you ovulated.

What u do is u sit on the edge of the toilet with ur legs spread open. Relax. Putthe applicator in ur vagina untill u meet resistance. Then press the button on the applicator. Take it out (the applicator) and throw it away. It will be very wierd untill u get used to it. That might take a while.

Before you put it in, put the applicator in your mouth for a few minutes to get it slick with your saliva. That might help you push it in a little easier. Spread your legs as wide as you can, as well, and try to relax.
first off it you are using cardboard that is your problem right there. Be sure to get a gentle glide tampon you may want to get some personal lubricant and put a little on the applicator so that it is easier to get in. You will get the hang of it...it takes some practice.
If you are dry when you try to insert the tampon, it will be very difficult. Try it during a heavy flow. Also, look at the directions on the box, it will show you what position to be in during insertion.

Both sets of parents live in FL now, they hosted the family parties. Now it's up to us ';kids'; to do it. The problem is we don't really click. We get along w/ my sister but we don't get along w/ her husband. Same w/ my brother-in-laws. We get along w/ one brother but not so much w/ his girlfriend. And the other brother and wife are so boring and we just have nothing in common with them it's hard to carry a conversation!

The older kids seem like a good age to do fun games such as twister, charades, Pictionary etc....we have a game that gets everybody talking and getting along....it is called Apples to Apples, so that might be a good one to get for the day. The teens and adults could all do the games, it will be a good ice breaker anyway.....
The toddlers might enjoy doing a craft, such as decorating sugar cookies or making a gingerbread house....you could also get Christmas coloring pages off the Internet and give each child a new box of crayons...make sure they are the washable kind though! If all else fails with the toddlers, make sure you have a couple movies they could watch.
I ALWAYS stress about my in-laws, and usually when it is all said and done it wasn't as bad as my imagination thought it would be. Try to enjoy the day.

I don't want to go to a hairstylist or anything like that, I am a regular barber goer and want to stay that way.
I just want a professional to give me some hair advice. Shampoo types, conditioner (if necessary), hair brush, technique, style recommendations, etc.

Im getting a Leonberger. Any advice that isnt the obvious?
I am getting a leonberger *yay* and already have an irish wolfhound so im used to big dogs but i was just wondering if there is any advice for that particular breed. I have done some research but any advice is welcome. Thank you.Im getting a Leonberger. Any advice that isnt the obvious?
I would advise against exercise as a puppy. You can let the puppy run free on their own, but leash work on giant breed puppies can lead to bone and joint problems later on in life. Wait until the dog is full grown about 1 year old before doing any exercising on leash.Im getting a Leonberger. Any advice that isnt the obvious?
Training it will require patience since most of the dogs of this breed does not take harsh teaching methods very well. You need to be firm but calm, consistent, and confident.
The Leonberger does not need much exercise but needs a daily walk. If not a daily walk, Leonbergers LOVE to swim
Heavy shedder, needs to be brushed weekly. Prone to eye and ear problems so clean those often.
Good luck with your new puppy! If from a pet store, don't buy it! Most likely a puppy mill dog which equals to a VERY sick dog.

Put your mind in a position where it wants to shut itself off, and sleep. See insomnia treatments, in much more detail than can be included here, in section 3, at ezy build, below. Use one of the relaxation methods, in bed, after lights out, in sections 11, 2, 2.c, or 2.i, but they can take some time to master, (Progressive Muscular Relaxation excepted) so learn and become proficient in their use during the day. An alternative is to use the EFT, in section 53, saying to yourself: ';Even though I sometimes have a sleep disorder, I deeply and completely accept myself.'; (or choose your own wording) while you use the acupressure tapping.
Some more; quick, and easy to learn, are at http://www.umm.edu/sleep/relax_tech.htm The progressive muscle relaxation, (most easily learned) guided imagery, and mindfulness breathing are known to be effective. Find out which works best for you, in the daylight hours, so you will be prepared, come bedtime. For many people, a good idea is to develop a set ';wind down'; routine for the last hour before bedtime, so your subconscious mind learns that it is time to put thinking aside, and prepare for mindfulness, (awareness, without cogitation/purposeful thought) or the EFT, in preparation for sleep, but the idea with mindfulness is to not even think about sleeping: just drift off, naturally, during exercising those techniques.
Avoid TV, computer, or anything exciting in this hour, although reading a BORING! book is a good idea. I suggest that you try using the EMDR variant, in section 3, on page A, prior to the mindfulness, or the progressive muscular relaxation, but after the EFT, if that method is chosen. Experiment, to find which combination works best for you. I also use it prior to my chosen relaxation technique, after lights out, at night. Get strong light, preferably sunlight (even if overcast) soon after waking in the morning, to reset your circadian rhythm. Your bedroom should very dark, after lights out, and a good sleeping temperature is 70 F, or 19 C. No daytime napping. That just creates another problem. My ex use to say he would smoke weed to get hungry and to sleep. It was just an excuse in my opinion.
See a doctor - you may need to be prescribed a mild dose of an antidepressant to help you sleep.
Also, sleep problems can be symptomatic of other illnesses, so it's best to get checked out.
try a night wout smoking the weed i dont sleep at night either i cant but when i need to i take 2 or 3 huge swigs ig nyquil and i am out like a lite i dont remember hitting the pillow but like i said i swig it
