As Charlie said, you'll only be allowed entry if you are part of an organised tour entering from China. The tour will be accompanied by a North Korean guide. A adventure company like Explore Holidays or GAP Adventures may be your first port of call. Alternatively, try a high street travel agent who are used to travellers visiting unusual travel locations like The Flight Centre or TrailFinders.
Also bear in mind that having a North Korean stamp in your passport will prevent travel to some countries. You may be best applying for a second passport to get round this issue.I'm Irish citizen and want to visit North Korea. Any ideas on getting visa or advice in general?
North Korea is a completely closed country. tThey do not allow individuals to travel there as tourists. Only organized groups may go and they must be accompanied at all times by North Korean ';Guides.'; Usuallu groups must enter through China. You may be able to get info from a travel agent.
