I would consider getting an ovualtion kit. Clear Blue has one and it comes with seven test strips that way you know when you are ovulating. My sister was trying to have a second for the longest time and she got the ovulation kit, about a month a later she found out she was pregnant. That's what I plan to do next month if I find out I'm not. Also, try sticking a pillow under your hips while you TTC, this will pull the semen in, instead of it coming out. Start taking vitamins and eat healthy too. Also, try different rooms of the house so it doesn't feel so ';routine';, and try different positions. Also, after sex wait a few minutes before standing up and going to the bathroom. Other than that, patience all you can have is patience. Good things come to those who wait. Good luck, I hope you both get what your wishing for soon. =)I am trying to get pregnant.....i need advice?
im kind of goin through the same as u only i know i cant concieve because my partner doesnt produce enough sperm. the best advice i can give u and i almost garantee it will work, dont stress out. forget you want to get pregnant u already have a son take the time and enjoy him, relax a little your putting to much pressure on your body so your probably not able to concieve you should be happy that u know nothing is wrong with u so there is lots of hope you'll become pregnant. when u get intimate with ur husband dont do it with the hopes of having sex and getting pregnant do it to enjoy life with him. remember he is the person u choose to be with. wait until your next period dont stress and eight days after ur off it then have sex with him only forget about getting pregnant have fun with him spice it up a little and i bet u in no time there will be baby, u know life works its little miracles
This is freaky, but a lot of foreign women swear by it, and it caused all three of my pregnancies. Borrow a friend's baby, the younger the better. Spend the day carrying and cuddling with it. Even go so far as to smell the baby's skin. This could help kick your hormones into ';drive'; and aid you in getting pregnant.
Check out Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. With the irregular periods, it is something that could be going on with you. As far as I know, it is usually in women who are overweight. I have it and had to have help to get pregnant. I took hormone injections to bring on ovulation and then we did invitro fertilization. Here is one site to read... there are lots.. just google Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.

I am going through the same thing right now and my Dr. gave me Clomid (fertility drug) and I have been going to the Dr. for Sonograms to see when I'm ovulating....there is something your Dr. can do b/c they are helping me. I have irregular periods and I can only start with taking provera. Hopefully I will get pregnant soon! Good luck and ask your Dr. again, b/c you don't ovulate if you don't have a period.
See a different doctor. You will never get pregnant with crazy cycles like that. Ask to be evaluated for PCOS (polycystyc ovary syndrome

Ask about Clomid (mild fertility drug). Be proactive, read up and challenge your doctor.

Is there anything the GYN can do to help regulate you cycle? Progesterone treatments perhaps. Without a regular cycle, it will be more difficult. Of course, I'm sure you already know this. Other than that, I would just suggest lots of prayer and unprotected sex.
I know exactly how you feel but quit trying so hard and relax! If its in your book of life I guess it will happen, thats what I've decided for us!
These things are entirely out of your hands.
I know a couple that tried for 11 years and then BAM, she was pregnant.
Don't dismay. Just relax, I know it's hard!!!
