Advice on getting a pug puppy?

For as long as I can remember I have wanted a pug. Next year my roommates and I are renting a house, so I'll be able to have it, as opposed to my apartment. However I know buying one is generally from $300-500, but is there a lot of maintenance? I have heard they are generally expensive to care for but I want one soooo bad... so is it worth it?Advice on getting a pug puppy?

Pugs are susceptible to a lo of genetic disorders, so you need to be sure you buy only from a reputable breeder who has tested their breeding stock for them and will be totally honest about the problems in the line. They're also slow to mature and quite stubborn so you need to begin training them right from the beginning.
mii friend got a pug puppy for her bday about a yr ago nd it is so adaorable nd fun to play with. i highly recommend them but the only thing is that you need to be able to spend time with it and you need a big area to let it run around. they r really small so you need a fenced in yard with no way for it to get out. you cant over feed them bcuz if they get overweight they can devlope a breathing problem
Any breed can be costly - food, vaccinations, check ups, tests, and unexpected vet visits for one thing or another - just be sure that you realize this is a commitment and what will happen down the road if you have to move.
