Do the ROTC thing. If you want to be an officer, be one from the start.Im enlisting is the army, w 55 hrs of college, i want to get a bachelor, and become an officier? advice please
Consider another branch of the service besides the Army. How about the Air Force?
Another option would be ROTC. You could apply for a 2 year scholarship. They are taking applications now for NROTC for fall of 2009 that I know of. You could be commissioned upon graduation.
All branches have education programs for enlisted to become officers, but the competition is tough. To finish your degree going part time would take about 6 years. Using tuition assistance you're limited to 12 hrs. a year.Im enlisting is the army, w 55 hrs of college, i want to get a bachelor, and become an officier? advice please
If you want to be an Officer, don't enlist. The first 3 years of your enlistment, you will likely be picking up trash or some other brainless job. Then when you get near the end of your contract, they will give you some training to make you want to reenlist. Also, you will be working 12 hours on and 12 hours off. When do you think you'll have time to finish school?
you can go to ocs when you have 60 credits, as long as you are going to be reserves, if you are going active duty then i would join an rotc unit until you have 90 credits then(and this parts important) go to FEDERAL OCS. otherwise you're screwed. I can give you all the info you want on this since i am doing it. just message me
Get your Degree in something the military is short of like medical or language etc first.
Naval/Marine is the toughest and Air Force is the least, same is true in most respects.
Officer's commission is at least 6 years and you could get fired, but unlikely judging by the quality of the ranks.
Good Luck
I would also say get your degree first, if you can, and apply directly to OCS. There are also ROTC programs available at many colleges that will give you a leg up into an officer program. Apply for an ROTC scholarship or other grants if you need financial aid.
the last guy that answered is an idiot. Just check out asvab scores for even enlisted members for the different services. I'll give you my e mail I currently live in China on a government job but would love to help tpw4591@yahoo.com
Join the Army National Guard, you can get the rest of your college paid for through state tuition assistance and the federal GI Bill.
Get your degree first. That's my advice. With the current Op Tempo it will take you 6 or 8 years to finish up on active duty.
yes do ROTC
here's some advice,, unless your dream is to fly, don't enlist

Any men have some advice on HOW TO GET MY FAMILY BACK?
I made a big mistake. When my wife was telling me that she didn't see me enough and that the kids missed me, I worked more. Then she started going out with girlfriends. I then used that as an excuse to say that I didn't trust her. I knew that she wasn't being unfaithful. I then met a woman, got involved with her and left my wife and two kids. I moved out 10 months ago. The woman and I are still friends but the romance was ended two months ago. My wife and I have 50/50 custody but my kids cry for her when they are with me. They are 7 and 3. My wife says that she is through. Have any of you had success in getting a wife back?Any men have some advice on HOW TO GET MY FAMILY BACK?
Yes, although our situation was much different than yours. Hang in there. She may forgive you with time. Keep the lines of communication open.Any men have some advice on HOW TO GET MY FAMILY BACK?
it will take hard work but dont give up... Make time...';always put your family first'; who else will help you deal with the cold hard world? You need to leave that other woman alone, i dont care if your still friends, you have ot make a choice...leave her alone..start taking wifey out..go on dates...do fun things, she just wants to be appreciated and spend time with you...do like old high school kids..and take her to the movies and etc..she could see what she's missing..most wifes dont want a divorce.....rekindle your relationship...court HER..get off the pc..and go to her!!!!
If you really love her and are committed to putting in the work to have a good marriage, then write her a letter/ call her/ email her/ send her flowers (all of them!) and tell her:
1) you love her
2) you are a slimball and YOU KNOW IT NOW!
3) you now understand that marriage is not all fun and games, it's hard work, but there is no marriage or family worth working hard for than the one you have.
4) you'll do anything to get back together, even on a temp basis (ie, move in together for a few months)
5) ask her to meet you at the marriage counselor - she can choose whoever she wants and YOU'LL pay!
If that doesn't work, sorry bub, nothing will
Tough. Reap-Sow.
Every case is different
i havent had this situations but i must say you messed up and first step is to acknowledge it and get down on both knees and apoligize as for getting her back it might never happen but i think that giving it a shot for the kids would be good this process will take a while but first be her friend again dont jump straight to lovers again you need to gain her trust it will just all go down hill if you guys jump into things quickly without her trusting you show her your great with the kids and show her you have changed take the kids and her out to the beach or to watch a baseball game something along the line spend time with your two kids and ex wife REMIND HER WHY SHE FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE become more involved and show her that you have got your prioritys straight and when your ready move in together again help around the house and do the dishes together vacum once in a while put the kids to sleep and let her have some time to herself this will show her that you are responsible and your working really hard to gain her trust back surprise your kids and wife with gifts and comming home early from work once in a while to help with dinner or the kids with their h.w then when your ready re propose to your wife and tell her you want her back and that you messed up but you cant see yourself without her and the kids
See if she will go to counseling with you. Pray, go to church and get back on track. Show her that you love her, tell her tht you love her and you re sorry. Come clean with her about everything. NO more games- thats where this started. See if you can start over- try asking her on a date. Perhaps just start be doing stuff with the kids together.
Read some books on rebuilding marriages. The Five Love Languages, Love and Respect...
You need to tell your wife what you've told us. Don't ask her to come back to you, just tell her you understand that you've lost her, but you want to ask her forgiveness anyway. Say that in breaking her heart, you've broken your own as well. Tell her how sorry you are and that you will always love her. You may have said some of these words before, but say them from your heart this time. This is what she wants from you.
Another thing is this: if you want your wife back, you'll have to discontinue the friendship with the other woman--the one you had the affair with. Your wife is not going to accept such a friendship, and you shouldn't expect that of her.
Perhaps the first thing you need to do is be sure you want your family back. Are you ready to be a loving husband and father? Will you hide behind your work again, when things don't go your way? Will you pick up another lover? Seriously, are you ready to commit yourself to your family? If you're not sure, don't waste this woman's time. Let her go, so she can find happiness. She's had enough pain.
wow..i guess physco really let you have it..ha..anyway from a womans point of view and from a woman whos man was playing games and still lied...it hurts like hell to know that a man that you love has betrayed you..the man that you completely trust and would give your life for could do somethig like this...once trust has been broken then it takes alot of time to get that back..although i stayed with my guy i still wonder if he will cheat and if he is talking to other females..if you truly love your wife and really relaize that what you did hurt her and the kids and that you honeslty deep in you hearts of hearts is willing to scarfice and make it work..i think then you have a shot of mending the relationship...like others have said you must cut all ties with the other woman and makes sure it is clear to the other woman that your family comes first..sit down with your wife and expalin to her that you want to be her husband agin and that you know it will take time to ge things back to the way it once was..let her know that your regret what you did and what you made her go through..let her know that you guys are a family and you want that again...good luck
My husband left me for another woman to. i jumped through alot of hoops trying to get my husband back, he even talked me into going on Jerry Springer for him. nothing seemed to be working so i gave up. he took his bimbo and they mooved closer to his mom. i kept our 2 kids and i was carrying our third . 2 months before our third baby arrived he called me saying he new he screwed up but he wanted a chance to make it right. i let him come home and things have been great between us. it has almost been 2 years and he has stuck by me through the death of my dad and 2 miscairages. and he has proven his love for me and our three living children everyday. your wife feels she cant trust you if you are sincere all you can do is try to court her. work your but off to show her that you only want her. and if all works out show her on a daily basis that she is your world and your kids are your precious angles. most women are not as forgiving as i was with my man so the road will not be easy. but if you are serious then you will show it and she will see it.
Wow, man. I dunno. If your wife isn't willing, I don't see what else you can do other than lie in the bed you made.
You can beg, kiss her butt, promise to do whatever it takes. If she still says no, it's a no.
Not while you're still ';friends'; with your little piece of fluff on the side. Who are you trying to fool - your wife or yourself? If you are serious about getting your family back, you'll have to do way better than that.
If I had her email address I would forward this question to her. I assume she will not consider couples therapy? Have you tried begging her to come back ? Tell here that you have made the biggest mistake of your life and will spend the rest of both your lives making it up to her. Say it and mean it. You got yourself into this mess by acting badly. Now you have to fix it if it is possible at all. If she is dead set against working it out there is nothing you can do. Maybe she has met someone else who is willing to be home and faithful. Bad luck dude. Guess you lived and learned on this one.
honestly i dont believe you deserve another chance you messed up by picking some woman over your family!!! Looks to me like you are one big LOSER!!! sorry but its true!!! I hope your ex finds someone better!!!
YOU ARE A SICK ******......GOD DAMN YOU.....if a man and i still feel this way just think how much you would have put your wife and kids through when you just abondoned them for sum woman.........*** HOLE.....GOD SHOULD CURSE EVERYONE LIKE YOU..........
I'm not a guy, but from a woman's point of view the first thing you need to do is completely cut ties with the other woman. If she really is a friend she will understand that it's very important to the renewal of your family that she and you have no further contact. The next thing you need to do is see if your wife would agree to family counseling. Your children are the most important thing right now and you need to see that they are okay, the best way to do that may be counseling.
Good Luck.
wow - tough sale. You've got your work cut out for you. Especially because another woman was involved.
Try some familiy counseling.
Do NOT date. (other people)

I need some advice about getting a close shave on my inner thighs?
It seems like I can never get a close shave on my inner thighs. I always get bumps, and they get very prickly very fast.. not attractive at all.. any suggestions?I need some advice about getting a close shave on my inner thighs?
There is this stuff I use to shave my legs and the *other area*... I swear by this product... I NEVER get those horrible bumps EVER when I use this product... go to this link below and check it out. BEST PRODUCT EVER

it sounds like an irritation..you may want to consider seeing your dermatologist...other options would be laser hair removal, a hair removal cream such as nair, or as stated above- waxing. I would test a small area with the wax or nair first because it sounds like your skin is sensative- hence the suggestion to see your derm. Good luck!
it sounds like a shaving/irritation rash, if you use shaving foam replace this with baby oil, simply rub the baby oil onto your thigh and shave making sure you use a sharp razor and clean the razor often whilst shaving.
hope this helps
You could wax, but now they have these mini razors at like walmart that help to get to all the areas down there.
Instead of shaving up and down, shave side to side.
Maybe you need a sharper razor.
Or maybe you should try waxing.
get it professionally waxed!

I might get a dog soon any advice?
golden retriever puppyI might get a dog soon any advice?
YES, make sure you have a lotta free time for your puppy. You also got to get a lot of toys to keep him occupied, get him a collar w/ a name tag(I know you think he won't ever get away but it sometimes happens okay?) Also, don't hit or smack or yell at him(Im sure you already know this but just in case) Take a lot of time to teach him basic rules of behaviour that can be found by using a search engine Type in Puppy care tips or traing tips. You might want to remember that when you let your puppy in(if your gonna) that when he first runs inside that he is going to be really excited and playful, dancing around and whatnot, TALK CALMLY TO HIM UNTIL HE CALMS DOWN AND DON';T PET HIM UNTIL HE CALMS DOWN because if you reward the excited state of mind he will be more likely to jump up and scratch you when he is older. Hope I helped and if you have any puppy questions(I know a lot about it and it would take a very long time to type it all) just emaIl me at RE GothicFairy@aol.com%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;there is a space between RE and Gothic and if that doesn't work my other e-mail is SELENEVAMPRESS use the other first though. Have fun!I might get a dog soon any advice?
puppys are very cute but just remember they are for life. all i can say is if you show them love you will have the best friend you could ever ask for good luck and many happy years ahead.
well done good breed to go for. when you get the puppy make sure you train it well and from the start, make them know you are the boss. They get big and strong when older so good disipline from the start. Don't feed it too much as it will eat everything you give it regardless of how much its had. Puppys need loads of your time and thhey need quite a lot of exercise. You need to vaccinate the dog too, which is sort of expensive but worth it. Unfortunatly i know an owner that did not vaccinate their puppy and it got parvo virus and died.
Good luck :)
if you do make sure you have suitable space and pen area plus plenty of time for walking. You will enjoy your pet much more if you are well prepared for it!
p.s. Boxers are class pets!
oh god! its a lot of work! i got a beagle puppy last year and was not prepared for all the work. make sure you get a cage big enough for it to be full grown in. keep it in there at night and when you are not home so it wont tear up your entire house. spend a lot of time teaching it to go to the door when it has to go ';potty'; so it wont do it inside (so often). you will need toys and plenty of puppy pads to put down on the floor, they can also be put outside too (there is a scent on them that draws the dog to pee on it). and basically just spend a lot of time with it. make sure it gets all of its shots and has regular visits to the vet.
Many questions. How old are you? Do your parents approve (if you live at home)? Are you are mature, responsible person who not only provide food and water but also emotional needs by playing with him/her every day the rest of their life?
I suggest you go to an animal rescue place where you can adopt one and they will tell you what is required to be a good dog owner.
I heard they make very good dogs they are just extremely hyper. But easy to potty train! Good luck!
Dogs are a lot more expensive that you might think.
I had a golden retriever which I got as a puppy. We got her in the summer time which was great because there was always someone home to give her attention and discapline. She was housebroken in two weeks.
I'd recommend getting a full grown dog if there isn't someone always at home atleast 75 percent of the time. Puppies need to go out atleast once an hour.
Active dogs, such as golden retrievers, need a fenced in yard so they can roam for hours a day.
Dogs are for life, not just for christmas.
Goldens are in general very nice happy dogs. They need a lot of excercise and need to be brushed. My advice is to research the breeds you are interested in and consider what they were meant to do. Consider your life style. If you are getting a pup-demand a lot from the breeder. The Flat-coated Retriever website has a list of questions to ask before you buy a puppy. You could also find some that need rescued at petfinder.org. Don't forget at least a basic obedience class as well.
Before you get any puppy, read up on the breed and see if the breed's requirements will be met by your life style.
Some breeds are naturally more active, and need more exercise and/or a job to do.
Some breeds, like retrievers, are naturally more ';mouthy'; and tend to nip/bite/chew more than others, and can do so for a longer period than most puppies.
Be prepared to take the puppy outside to do his business often, every 2 hours, as a small puppy does not have control over his bathroom needs.
Feed a quality food 3 times a day.

If you never had one before, ask some friends who have dogs if you can borrow their dog or watch it for them for a week or so and see if you are prepared for the commitment that comes with it.
When you are sure you want a dog, let the dog chose you.
What about a rescue dog?I have 2 rescue cats which are loads of fun and give you a good feeling that you have given them a loving home.Be prepared to do your best for it and lots of tlc or forget the idea.
Those are cute dogs - but be ready to take the good with
the bad. The good - undying loyalty to you. The bad -
chewed up shoes, cleaning up the yard, etc. Congrats.
on being able to get one though!
Make sure your ready walk allot or go hunting, Any retriever is a high energy dog and will need lots of exercise, if they don't get it they become just a little destructive. Make sure you get a dog that fits your life style, I'm a hunter, so I love My Chesapeake bay retriever. My friend on the other hand is kind of a home body so the mine poodle was my choice for her and she just loves her, not high maintenance indoor dog, that dose not shed. Remember that there all cute and cuddly for only about 6 months, then you had better be ready to deal with that animals personalty, which is built into them, I.E. German Shepperd is a Gard dog by nature, and retriever is a Retriever by nature,etc...... So make your choice wisely.
Here is a web site with lots of information for you. Give your puppy lots of love and attention you will be glad you did.
Think carefully before you get one, they take up a lot of your time and they need to be fed properly and taken for walks two or three times a day. The rewards for this are great and many. Happy `walkies`!
Dogs are an investment. An investment of time, money and effort. Please be willing to care for your pet, this includes regular vet care as well as the surprise things that come up from time to time. Be willing to walk your dog, play with your dog and train it so its a nice dog to have and enjoy around others as well as yourself. Be prepared to love you dog, even after the ';new dog'; isn't so new anymore. This isn't a toy you can throw to the back of the closet when you get bored with it. Please be willing to spend time with your dog daily. Dogs need interaction with you daily, not just when you feel like it, and just because you decided to to something else, doesn't mean your dog can wait for food, potty breaks and general care and concern from you. You must be willing to care for the dog whether you are sick or well, busy or bored and no matter what, your dog will depend on you for kindness, understanding and care. If you can't do it, don't get one. If you are mature enough to not only do that, but more, you are on your way to being a responsible human being who will reap years of reward from your dogs companionship, obedience and general well being. Good luck to you and I hope you get a wonderful, loving dog that you treat very well!
Make a costing: Purchase price ( ours came from a Rescue £70), Vet, food, bedding, toys, leads, kennel fees, insurance ( £9/month), chipping, chopping (if you do not want to breed), puppy training etc.
exercise plan 2 x walks /day (1/2 hr. is enough)
Holiday cover, or cost of passport ( now approx £150-£200 from start)
If you can afford/keep to all these and they are favourable when you have sat down and worked it out -- then and only then are you able to keep a dog.
I have always wanted a dog..........for years and had to wait til quite late in life to be able to actually have the time they deserve/afford it. It would be a shame to have to part after a few months, if you find you have not enough time or money. The average life of a Retriever is about 10 -15 years. A big commitment. Any dog should not be left alone for longer than a max of 6 hours !!!! Think carefully about it. Another option would be to volunteer at a local RSPCA or kennel. I apologise if you are a mature, wealthy jobless person for being judgemental. Good Luck...
Be very consistent. If you don't want him on the couch, never let him on the couch. If you don't want him to jump on people, never let him jump on people (etc).
Make sure you put things that are either very valuable, irreplaceable (or otherwise important) out of reach of the pup. He/she will be learning boundaries and will make mistakes. I would say watch out for electric wires. I know rabbits and cats are more notorious for it, but dogs are known to chew on electrical wires and shock/electrocute themselves from time to time, so watch those.
Lots of patience will probably be your biggest asset while you get the pup trained.
I am a big advocate of the VERY FIRST thing you should do is make sure you have a good vet near you AND the money to afford ANY routine AND emergency care. Read some of the postings on here. It can be very sad. Oh and plenty of room for it to play.
I have a dog and it's very nice but it has one let down. It barks all the time and very loud. I don't know why and I have to just put up with it now but fortunately it does not bark at night!
I got the same puppy! His name's Biscuit. He's 1 year old now, and a little devil. :) Make sure to play with your puppy a lot and when it's bad be sure you show it what it did wrong. Oh, and teach it tricks, too. My puppy's first trick was to sit. What you have to do is hold a treat above its head and as it looks up, it will naturally sit down. Say, ';sit,'; then give it the treat, and lots of praise!
Just remember they are a very big commitment- you won't be able to go out and come back when you want.
start training early and dont give up, other wise you have a very disobedient dog on your hands and it gets annoying. Also take the time to use a language dictionary and train them in another language I taught my chow all her commands in Italian that way she only listened to me.
DON'T DO IT!!! Unless you are prepared and able to give it two or three hours of exercise a day.
If you do, it would be happier as one of a pair. It would be happier with a warm bed, with a ticking clock (heartbeat) and a cuddly toy it can chew or just cuddle. Start training from day one, it's always easier earlier.
Don't --they are drain on time and money.
It is a disgrace that as a nation we spend more each year on dog food than aid to starving Africans
No wonder boatloads turn up at the Canary Islands
Read everything you can find on golden retrievers, ask owners what to expect when the dog grows up, and make sure you have the patience to take care of the puppy! But I would recommend not to get from a breeder, go to a shelter, there are lots of dogs out there that would love a home. I adopted, and I'm glad I did. I have the sweetest dog ever.
Remember that it won't be a puppy long, and will soon be a very big, very active dog. Make sure you're ready for at least a 15 year commitment. If you're not, please don't get the dog.
Good luck!
Just remember that they are a mjor commitment. You have to walk them at breakfast, lunch and dinner. They cost a lot of money as well but will give you lots of pleasure. Try this site...jane iredale

ADVICE PLEASE.......I got a root canal done 8 months ago, but didnt get the crown put on yet..........?
The dentist told me that I should get a crown put over it when I can, but that the tooth should be fine for a while without the crown, then I was eating some pizza yesteray and my tooth broke on the inner side, but still attached, but I cant chew on the side and its really annoying, because I cant really brush that wiggly side, do you think that the dentist will be able to fix my root canal, or do you think that shell have to pull my whole tooth which you can see when I smile!
Have you ever heard of the dentist fixing a broken root canal when the tooth has broken?ADVICE PLEASE.......I got a root canal done 8 months ago, but didnt get the crown put on yet..........?
You should go see your dentist asap. If the Fracture isn't too bad they will just have to crown it and it will be fine. unfortunately if it is fractured into the canal or into the root it maybe too late. So just see your dentist and they will find a way to help!

Anyone who is a student at Wharton or Upenn can give me advice on how to get in???
Undergrad or MBA?
If undergrad, you will need a 3.8+ unweighted GPA, a weighted GPA well over 4.0, lots of honors and AP classes, graduate near the top of your HS class, lots of activities. For Penn, you will need an SAT score in the 2100+ range -- but for Wharton, you will need a higher GPA. Wharton is much harder to get into than the other Penn colleges. It is essential that you have a great interview and write a killer admissions essay.
If you are interested in an MBA, then you need a high GPA, GMAT scores over 700, four or five years of work experience and a decent GPA from a highly regarded undergraduate school.

I want to start getting conditioned for boxing, any advice on what things I could do?
Well, as a new boxer you're going to have to work extremely hard to build up stamina.
This means A LOT of cardio!! Running, biking, jogging, swimming you name it buddy!
Secondly... Nutrition!! If you're going to be training real hard, you're going to have to be filling up the tank with a lot of carbs and protein. Btw... if I could recommend something I would advise you to train in the morning. Why? If you train in the morning it will force you to have a great breakfast (very important) and it will speed up your metabolism for the entire day. Meaning those heavy meals you'll be eating wont be sticking around as fat.
For now focus mostly on your cardio..... stamina is key for any new boxer. Later on you can begin to focus on your strength, technique etc...
Good luck bro and train safe!I want to start getting conditioned for boxing, any advice on what things I could do?
Join a gym if you are not part of one already but if not then you need to start running and doing sit ups and you're gonna need equipment such as a heavy bag, speed bag double end bag and a sparring partner, because you can be in shape but to be in boxing shape is a whole different thing.I want to start getting conditioned for boxing, any advice on what things I could do?
Plenty of roadwork, sit up rope and bag but most important stance balance and defense and speed

I need all the love advice I can get!! HELP ME!!!?
I spent the whole day with my boyfriend on Saturday. We had a pretty serious conversation at the end of the night. First I told him that I wasn't ready to have sex with him right now or for a while. We've only been dating for 2 months. He said that was fine but it would be hard for him. Then, he is going to be moving to Japan in the fall %26amp; he told me that he really likes me a whole lot and doesn't want to leave because I'm the only thing here that he wants. He didn't tell me that he loves me but he seemed close. He asked me what we were going to do and I said I don't know. He said we can just go and get married next weekend. We both laughed at that but he says things from time to time about If we were married. In the end all was fine. Sun. he emailed me a couple x's so I texted. An hour later he said that he had gone to see a movie with a friend he went to college. He answered with only a couple words though. Then today he was grumpy and said he was tired. What up with this???I need all the love advice I can get!! HELP ME!!!?
He is mad because you did not have intercourse with them. He was rejected. when this happens a lot of thoughts go through their head. Some sinful and some understanding. compare it to the stages of grief. was he in DENIAL that you decline sex, like in example did he ask twice or more and possibly at different times and ways. It seems that he is in his ANGER stage now. BARGAINING appeared to have occurred when he stated that you could get married next weekend. DEPRESSION, he probably was hurt at one point in time or sad about the whole situation. ACCEPTANCE, this is the hardest stage to reach but with time, if he loves you or even cares for you, he will wait. There are those guys out there that put on a show, wine you and dine you , and when they get your trust. BAM you have sex and they are with someone else and your heart soul is broken, you feel violeted and go into a depression that could last years. Then you first time would be the worst day of your life. DATE RAPE. Happens all the time. Some don't know its RAPE. IF HE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELING, HE IS NOT THE ONE TO HAVE SEX WITH. YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO HAVE SEX, MAKE KIDS, AND GROW OLD. IT WILL BE SO MUCH MORE SPECIAL IF YOU WAIT FOR YOUR WEDDING NIGHT. of course you yourself may go the the five stages that i listed above, sorry, truth hurts , wake up to reailty. best wishes.I need all the love advice I can get!! HELP ME!!!?
You didn't say how old you both are.Assuming that you are both old enough to be serious with each other. Sounds as though he might be trying to move on with someone else since he didn't want to talk to you. Maybe you need to go out with someone else for awhile, if he is the one for you, I believe it will work out in the end.
He's probably bothered a little cause he's leaving and he loves you.
perhaps he and his friend got in an argument that night.or he could have just woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Or got in trouble with someone. It could just be one of those days.
you should try and talk to him, sit him down and tell him you were a little concerned about the way he acted today. And just don't try to sound harsh.
Good Luck!
From my experience, guys will say anything to get into your pants. I'm not saying he's lying, in fact he may believe everything he's saying, but having sex changes everything. You'll start going out less on dates and sex will either become very important to him, or he'll lose interest. Be sure he loves you first. Does he do stuff for you? For example, a guy that loves you will plan stuff for you to do together, or he'll cook for you or fix your car or even help you find a job. (That's what my boyfriend did.) If you're a teenager, I'd say wait six months, if you're in college or in your early 20's I'd say wait three or four months. If he sticks around for that long, he probably likes you for you and the sex will be just a bonus.
Hope this helps.
he wants to get in your pants!!!! that's it.
Unfortunately, it seems like you're going to lose him if you guys don't get down and dirty, but don't give in sweetie.
you won't feel any better if you do what he wants. you'll just feel crappy; your self-esteem will most likely plummet. You should have sex only when YOU are comfortable and if you do what you feel is right, then you'll be a very proud and confident woman.
Sex shouldn't happen unless the words I Love You are spoken from the heart!!!!!
Don't read anything into this. He's probably doing alot of thinking about your situation and doesn't know the answers.
He's dealing with it as best as he can. You both need to sit down and talk things through. I wish you luck
what a dick!!!!!!!!!!!!! ask him how was she!!!!

Do you think I can get custody and any extra advice?
I am 17 years old and 19 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. The dad is 20 years old and basically our whole relationship was a lie and I do not think he is adequate to be a parent. He was on drugs and sold drugs to his friends. He drinks all the time illegally. He yells all the time . His dad is a former alcoholic and they both have anger problems. His whole family swears and yells and he verbally abused me all the time, how do i know he wont do the same to my son. I think for my son's sake I need to try my hardest to get full custody. I don't do drugs, alcohol, smoke, swear. I am just a girl that got into a bad situation and got pregnant. I am just trying to protect my baby boyDo you think there is a good possibility I will get custody? Need any advice you can give because I have never dealt with the legal system.Do you think I can get custody and any extra advice?
I'm Sure you would if your telling the truth! As long as he can't prove you unfit then I don't see why you wouldn't win custody! The courts may still rule joint custody but you with the primary residence meaning the child lives with you and visits him on days the court orders! Just because you have full custody does not mean the dad will not have visitation! i have full custody of my daughter but my best friend has joint custody and there is really not much difference. Also write down verything he says to you from now on! And document anytrhing you witness that would be unsafe for the child while in his care! So Document Document Document Everything!Do you think I can get custody and any extra advice?
First of all I have been there ,theres alot to consider, you have not had the baby yet so custody is not an issue at this time and as long as paternity is not established when the baby is born you automatically have custody, and any one that abuses you is not worthy of you,get out of that situtation, you can get a protection order and he wont even be able to come around, also no judge in their right mind will allow custody to a drug addict and someone that is an abuser,I have dealt with the legal system alot with a protection order in place that will nullify visitation, move out if you are living with him, seek your parents help if you are choosing to keep the baby, from now on document everything that goes on what he says to, to drug useage if any legal issues come up you will have documentation, get a protection order to keep him away, and see if he will get himself together tough Love is the best kind he needs alot of help.Good luck Lisa feel free to e- mail me if you want to talk or need more advice Llisadrew@yahoo.com P.s If you have him establish custody you will be entitled to child support, like I said no judge will take a baby from its mother and give it to a drug addict, still I would annilate that relationship, you have along way to go relax and concentrate being at peace with your pregnancy
consider putting this child up for adoption because you are too young and he is a wad or jerko
You never know whats going to happen. Im going though the same thing right now with my fiance. He's done nothing wrong but his ex is a drug addict and she still got the kids. The system sucks, its stupid.
The courts will NOT take an infant away from it's MOTHER unless the mother can be proven UNFIT... 17 if VERY young to be a mother, but you sound like as far as your BABY is concerned you would be the most protective parent and capable of taking care of this child. Thing that I worry about is HIS FAMILY....they may drag you into court and because of your AGE try to prove you UNFIT...so be prepared.... The other thing that may happen is this..... most 20 year old Males do not want to be ';saddled with a kid'; (their words not mine)..he may just want to totally disappear from the baby's life. You would be entitled to child support but then he would be entitled to visitation UNLESS you could prove HIM to be an unfit parent----I would call a lawyer in your area who handles child custody cases and go for a consultation... SOME lawyers will give you a first consultation for free... it can't hurt to become better informed on the legal aspects of it all...

Why do people insist on getting advice on their love life via blogs with strangers?
Every other question is a question about finding love, or why doesn't so and so like me, or how can I talk to girls, and the list goes on! Please, spare others your questions that have little value in answering because we all know you are going to do whatever it is you originally intended to do!Why do people insist on getting advice on their love life via blogs with strangers?
I think they do this (1) because their friends are not telling them what they are wanting to hear or (2) they can tell or ask a stranger what they can't tell or ask a friendWhy do people insist on getting advice on their love life via blogs with strangers?
I am glad you are not my neighbor. I would have a bake off every time you got a new family pet.
It's no different than writing to ';Dear Abby'; or ';Ask Pat';...It's just, maybe you are a little more anonymous here?..?..
In the asking is the feeling of insecurity coupled with the fear of having lost or being faced with the possibility of losing the most precious thing one can have - Love. Love in its myriad complexities is attached to insecurity and fear and despondency arises naturally. They say that Love is akin to Hate - which happens when one does not realise that even though the object of love does things that one does not expect that person to do - if it is true love - it will live on for ever - and love needs nourishment all the time - so one needs direction - and perhaps the people who ask questions get direction from all the people who answer these seemingly stupid questions ... and strangers may not be as strange as the ones we know - Smiles - and no one knows what anyone is going to do before it is done in the area of love - and if you want to be spared the question - then dont read them - turn a blind eye like Lord Nelson ....
you know why ,they are qualifing their veiws through me and you that makes whatever they decided to do already seem justified ,,, watch whos answers they select,,, they are not scarey with intellect in the first place
Because we like it when our own preconceptions are validated by others, even strangers.
Plus everybody likes to complain and the Internet gives the appearance (although not necessarily more than that) of anonymity.
Most people have trouble with love since it's mostly irrational and generally because it's one of the strongest emotions, leeds to, well, great stupidity.
people enjoy the anonymity blogs provide
They prefer to have the option of remaining anonymous rather than telling all their friends about their problems (esp. guys) coz they're scared all their friends will give them heaps about it. And maybe they're bored at work. I know that's why I reply :-)
hey I can't reach you on the evolution question. I might as well answer your statement. I wouldn't say that anybody that argues agains't evolution is stupid and doesn't know anything. Many Creationists have college and doctorate degrees. I know it is, anything that contradicts your ideas is stupid
the answer is simple... other pleole will always say the truth....about their own expirience, that is... it is harder to trust someone who knows you or sees you often.
by the way even if it is your most personal question we tend to take the advice we want to hear and not what is good for us any questions?SM

I can only get my first serve in consistently when i'm serving across my body, anyone have any advice?
The quick way to fix it is to rotate your body on the starting position to the right (if you are a rightie), so you will feel like you hitting your serve across your body. You have to experiment how much rotation you will need.
Hope this help.I can only get my first serve in consistently when i'm serving across my body, anyone have any advice?
As a rightie, the duece court is easier for my flat serve (and I think that's what you mean by across your body). I use a kick serve to the ad side - brushing the ball and trying to hit the corner so the returner will struggle with his high backhand stroke. My first and second serves are almost the same on the ad court and I slow down the second serve on the duece court (my second serve on the duece court gets pretty weak in a long match).jane iredale

Does anyone have advice on the ';right'; thing to say when a loved one needs help but won't get it? ?
I have a boyfriend and he is sick like mentally; not in a bad way but he has mood swings and it gets pretty bad. I insisted he see a doctor or therapist and get tested and see what's wrong; but he sees no problem and says its no big deal; everyone around him is effected and worried. And advice on what to say to maybe get him to go without pushing him to hard?Does anyone have advice on the ';right'; thing to say when a loved one needs help but won't get it? ?
Guys don't like being told they have a problem
well no1 does
my friend wudnt even listen to me about his addiction problem
it takes a bad bad experience (sometimes near death) to jolt them.
go out to eat or something, show him you care by 'doing' things for him for a day, like hang out with him, spend time
then tell him you love him and you are concerned and if he would just give it a try, if not for himself, for you...because you are worried and ask him if he would like to see you so uncomfortable. Don't tell him how he feels...or what he ';should do';... tell him how him not seeing a doc makes you concerned and to give it a try just once, nobody has to know but the two of you and u'll go with him if he wants.
guys dont like to admit something like that
and needing ';help'; is like a deface to their man hood.
Good luck. It's nice that you still care for him after everything. You're a great person.Does anyone have advice on the ';right'; thing to say when a loved one needs help but won't get it? ?
I'm not sure how old you are but I'm assuming that you are in high school. If so, I think you should go see your counselor and advise them of your boyfriends problem and ask them if they can help him. They may be able to talk to him and see if it is just a phase or if he does need some kind of medical help.

I rly want to get into horoscopes tarot cards angel cards etc but dnt no here to start any advice or websites?
First pick one of those, It is not a good idea to try and do them all at once.
Once you have decided which area you would like to study, a really good way to go is to find your Local New Age Bookstore ( yellow pages or google ';New Age Bookstores'; and put in your city.) and ask if they have classes. They usually do and most of the time they are reasonable.
Also check and see if you have a school of Metaphysics in your area. They will also have classes and they will be more extensive.
You can learn online but hands on is so much better and gives you the opportunity to talk, compare and practice with other students.
Best WishesI rly want to get into horoscopes tarot cards angel cards etc but dnt no here to start any advice or websites?
My advice is to just let yourself start and not ask too many questions about how to start.
There are so many systems, etc. Just let your instinct pic one and start! Why not learn Vedic Astrology? I teach a lot about it on my site and through my courses. I'm in the process of writing a book on it.I rly want to get into horoscopes tarot cards angel cards etc but dnt no here to start any advice or websites?
You should check out Sunshine of the Soul they have a section on Astrology and well as the Tarot

For Penn, you will need an SAT score in the 2100+ range -- but for Wharton, you will need a higher GPA. Wharton is much harder to get into than the other Penn colleges. It is essential that you have a great interview and write a killer admissions essay.

My first and second serves are almost the same on the ad court and I slow down the second serve on the duece court (my second serve on the duece court gets pretty weak in a long match).

I'm a freshman in high school, I need as much advice as I can get! Please help!?
It's not even a month into high school and I'm screwing up REALLY badly. I'm in Honors English and Social Studies, and both have fulfilled their promises of tons of homework. How do I manage all of this work? How do I maintain a balance between school work and friends and religion and everything like that? How do I not stress out over things like bad grades and too much work? How do I manage my time? Please give me as much advice as you have, I REALLY REALLY need it!!!!!!I'm a freshman in high school, I need as much advice as I can get! Please help!?
This would be a good question for your school counsler and your parents. They could help you organize your time so there is time for everything. Just talk to them, and list your priorities in order so you can see what you need to spend the most time on and what you need to spend less time on. You mentioned religion, so maybe you could consider praying for help in knowing how to manage it all.I'm a freshman in high school, I need as much advice as I can get! Please help!?
I was in your position once.
I always just looked ahead. School will almost be done. Do it for yourself, and don't think life is all about friends. You are building your future!
Now Im done college and all, and it felt like time just flew!
WHAT do you do on week ends?? And after school do your home work right a way.
work as much as you can during school take a little break when you get home, do your homework, talk and socialize until you go to bed which would be helpful if it was earlier
i know what you mean. when i went into high school, i was put into the advanced english classes also. i really didnt feel like i should be in that class, i wasnt the greatest student and my first couple months as a freshman were tough. you really just need to prioritize. make sure school comes first and if you are having problems talk to your councelor or teacher. dont get worked up and stressed out, it will only make things harder. try to make a system that works for you. do homework in study hall and when you get home from school. if you know that you have to do something important, make it a priority. if you do it all when you get home, you have the rest of the night to socialize and what not. and if you dont, thats what the weekend is for. Just make sure you focus on school, it really is the most important thing in the long run.
May be change from Honor to Regular course?
Talk to your school counsellor about it.
Make a timetable (of a week), list the things you do in different weekdays. Then you may find it easier to make adjustment.
socialize with friends at school homework is for home and religion is whenever you want
Welcome to high school hunnie, you have to manage it because it gets worse and better as you guys. What I mean is, you get more work but you will learn how to manage it. What I did for a while was set times for everything. For example set a time limit for each subject, take breaks talk to friends on the phone. Whenever you can do work at school. If you can depends on who u are do work on the bus. School work is kinda high in rank, so find time for that first. Believe me I know I messed up sooo many times.
I know exactly what you are feeling cuz I feel the exact same way about junior year. Remember, school comes first so don't be afraid to tell your friends or your parents that you have too much work. I usually don't think about what work I have and I just sit down and do it (with lots of time being frittered away because I can't concentrate well). Try taking a little nap or eating a snack after you get home from school. It helps rejuvinate you. If you want to get some social time, Fridays and Saturdays are good. Just relax and have fun.
You will do it because you have too. If you are in honors, than I assume the idea of dropping out of school is not an option...so that being said, prepare yourself for many a days that you wish were just a few hours longer. Use the feeling of getting things done to drive you....
now for the real advise... I learned this from someone who read it in a book, but trust me...it works!
Make A, B, C, D to do lists.
A stands for Absolutly must do today...or right away. (list those things under that category.
B stands for Better do soon. (List the ';to do's'; that are not right away to do's, but will be if you don't do them quickly under this category.)
C stands for Could be done later. (Put the things you don't need to do anytime soon under this category, usually, these are the things you would rather be doing, or that you don't need to do to function, but could help you function better at some point.)
and finally, my favorite...
D stands for delegate. List the things you could ask someone else to do for you in this category. Again, these are usually things that you would rather do, but are so simplistic that doing them is only a waste of time.
Always make time to make your TO DO LIST...this method is so wonderful, because it is a one page glance at all you need to do, but also keeps you focused on what is important to do at specific times. It also forces you to see if you are procrastinating and fix it sooner than too late.
If you are skepticle...please just try it...it really works!
Nice advice Diana.
Hi there. Im a junior in Miami Senior and let me tell you I understand you. My best advice is to learn to manage your time. NEVER do all of your homework at one time. Take it slow and donot procrastinate. If you have a week take the week to break down everything taught during the week into pieces so you can better understand. Take margin notes.
If you learn to manage your time everything else falls into place. Managing your friends and personal life will be a breeze. I hope this helps!

My daughter is just like you and busy busy busy. She is in Band Orchestra, GATE Robotics and Quiz bowl and overloaded with homework (she takes honors classes as well) and goes to church on Wednesday activities. She has to stay after school until 5:00 then comes home and does homework and practices instruments. She tries to get as much done at school as possible but with shorter classes this year it is hard. Once she is done she has a couple hours down time to rest, read, watch television or what ever. Her social life is going to the school games and church on Wednesdays and sometimes Sundays. We have family time on Saturdays. I know that it is tough now, but trust me it will be worth it, just get it done soon as you get home so you can get on with whats left of the day. Get an agenda planner and write down all your work and assignments as well as other activities. It really helps.

I would like people to tell me a fast but effective way to get a six-packI am 13 Years old and don't have fat on my stomach but just want advice on how to get a six-pack in no time?
Do different types of crunches. Don't do sit-ups, they are bad for your neck and spine.
Crunches - 5 sets to failure
Lying Leg Lifts - 5 sets to failure
Side Crunches - 5 sets to failure
Reverse Crunches - 2 sets to failure
Pull up Crunches - 3 sets to failure
You will also need to do some cardio as well. I never got a six pack from soley working my abs, I got it from running about 2-5 miles three times a week. If you are going to go running, make sure you have good running shoes and try to run on a track (don't run on concrete it is very bad for you).I am 13 Years old and don't have fat on my stomach but just want advice on how to get a six-pack in no time?
I guess u need time unless u are really going hardcore for it. It took me 2-3 mths b4 the packs shown up. I do pumpings, sit-ups and skippings everyday. 100, 150 and 150 of them respectively. But theres no hurry for you as you are still young ;)
one matter what anyone says ,,their is no quick way to do it, Just do sit-ups and crunches. It will take 2-3 months for you to notice a diffrence. work hard and don't quit.

No. 1, never EVER listen to what others say about if a guy will ever like you or not. Only the guy can tell you that himself.
No 2. Don't change who you are for ANYONE, even this guy.
No 3. Be yourself and talk with him and let him know or at least flirt with him a bit to indicate to him that you like him. Then if he responds you are lucky and if he doesn't let it go.
No 4. He just might not be the guy you think he is. Have you ever considered that in this country of almost 4 million people there just might be others guys out there that are nicer, cooler, more cute, etc.?
No 5. Be confident and stop relying on others telling you what you can and can not do!
well the way i did it is i got in to his personal life thought his friends or if he has a jornal to find out what he likes. if you find out that he likes u i would be prity strait forwerd with it and ask him out or if he dosent like u that u no of try messing or flerting with him
Be yourself. Someday you'll find a guy that likes you and not whatever you're trying to be. Do you really want to be with someone who doesn't like you?
Just be your self and try flirting with him and acting cute and being nice to people and eventually he will see that and he will like you.
OK. Let us see. Look at how he is, us what he likes a points of chat, and when its the time ask him out.
Smile at him and be cute. Ask HIM out if you need to! Guys like that!! Always date out of your league, I say. You only limit yourself. There is no reason why he shouldn't like you. Be aggressive. Go get that man!

Public speeaking advice for getting really nervous?
Whenever i have to read something i wrote to the class to the class i get really nervous. It's not that im a bad writer and im emberassed, im a really good writer. I'm not sure why i get nervous but i do. My heart pounds like its about to come out of my chest, one of my friends even said he could here it. My voice shakes when i speak, thats the worst part. I also find myself haveing a very dry mouth and i also get really red. Any advice?Public speeaking advice for getting really nervous?
If you really are a good writer, this will be easier. When you're getting up to speak remember. I'm doing THEM a favor! What you have to share is important and your audience will benefit from hearing. Knowing that will make you more enthusiastic and fired up...and more entertaining.Public speeaking advice for getting really nervous?
Sometimes I take a tums or antiacid before I do public speaking. Sometimes that makes it less painful.
The other times, I just pretend people aren't even in the room. Drown them out and focus on what you are talking about. Pretend that you're somewhere else... either a lead in a play, or in your own bedroom. Focus on what you are reading and nothing less.
Usually, I always go first to get it over with. That way, you can relax for the rest of the presentation (if there are any).
I know it's easier said than done... but try to have fun with it. Show off your knowledge and if you want, focus on the tops of people's heads instead of using eye-contact.

am 24 years old Ive been with this guy since I was 19, we have a little boy together who's about 2. I just found out Im pregnant again. Mike( the boyfriend) has always hated michigan. hates the cold hates the people ( whatever that means) and hates the job rate.Anyway Im about 12 weeks pregnant and he wants to up and move to Florida and visit his dad hes never seen and get the hell out of michigan. I dont ..Ive always lived here it doesnt bother me and all my family and friends are here. H e cant watch our son because he gets too irritated with him after like an hour so he cant possibly watch him all day while I go to a job. and I dont see us making it there without two working. He says part of the reason hes the way he is is because he never had a dad ( bad temper ..)that if I take him away from our son that he'll end up the same way. and that he'll hate me for it the way he hates his mom.Now Im pregnant , so thats two kids to hate me for it. So what should I do ?I'll take any adviceI need All the advice I can get..really?
I have been in your shoes. The father of my son didn't like Chicago anymore for the same reasons... weather, people, etc. One day he decided he wanted to move to Arizona. We didn't know anyone there, didn't know what to expect. Since I thought we'd eventually get married, I moved 2000 miles away from any family and friends. The job market sucked in AZ, we both had to work to make ends meet. I worked days, he worked nights so we didn't have to put our son in daycare. It was really hard. To make a long story short, things didn't work out and I wound up moving back to Chicago without him. A year later he moved back too. I'm not saying that this will be the case with you and your boyfriend, but seriously thing about it before you just pick up and leave. I lost all my friends and my family disowned me when I left (gory details have been left out!). Don't let him brainwash you into thinking your son (and baby on the way) is going to end up the same way he did. I constantly have to hear that from my son's dad. If he wants to leave, I say let him go. You aren't taking the kids away from HIM, HE wants to leave. If you have a good relationship with your family and have close friends, they will help you along the way. I know it is hard being a single parent, but when it comes to your children you will do what it takes to make them happy and there are always people willing to help. I have been there, still there actually LOL. It will all come together; in this situation, listen to your head, not your heart.I need All the advice I can get..really?
At no point in all of that did you say you loved him. Maybe you should consider just leaving his sorry a**; your kids will NOT hate you for it. I was glad my mom finally left my dad. Do you want your kids to be exposed to that bad temper all the time? Or would you rather raise them in a peaceful environment? There are hundreds of programs that can help you with finding employment, housing, day care, food money (WIC) etc. There are also hundreds of guys out there who don't have bad tempers and probably enjoy living where you are. Free yourself up to meet some of them by dumping this guy.
Come to Florida, we'll hang out %26amp; find you a guy that's the complete package.
i have been EXACTLY where you are now. I would suggest staying with your family and friends. HONESTLY! I went through that and he took me to where I am now and I hate it here. We have a child and he is now trying to get custody. Keep yourself around family girl...ok? I am wihtout anyone! No family and NO friends and guys love it when they can take your life from you in one quick swoop. So stand firm and please keep the babies safe and don't go somewhere on a limb like to his dad's just because he wants to. You will regret it trust me. Take care and I hope this helps. PEACE~
Tell him that he should go to Florida to visit his dad, and to check if thate is a house near his dad for you guys to move in... when he leaves GET A RESTREINING ORDER AND MOVE WHITH FAMILY MEMBERS!!! GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND GET A BETTER JOB. Your kids (and you) will have peace at home, and maybe HE will stay with daddy in Florida.
First, I must say that you boyfriend can't blame his issues on the fact that he didn't have a dad. People can choose to change things about themselves and if he knows he has issues why doesn't he do something to better himself and work them out? I don't think it's fair for him to say that your son will end up the same way. I think it's his way of trying to control you so you'll stay will him. I grew up without ever meeting my 'real' dad. Yes, I had some anger when I was younger but then I realized that was not the person I wanted to be and took steps to change it. You sound like a better parent than Mike had, so I seriously doubt your kids will end up hating you. It's how you nurture and care for your kids that forms them and their opinions on life (the majority of the time). It sounds to be that he's just a glass-is-half-empty type of person that is unhappy with himself so therefore he will always think he's been cheated and deserves something more.
On to the moving issue. You are exactly right in thinking it will take 2 incomes to survive there. I have friends %26amp; family (and will hopefully be moving myself next year from KY!) and it is definitely a more expensive place to live. Also, you don't want to leave this person alone with your son if he starts getting aggravated, etc, quickly because your son will think this is the way normal people behave and start to pick up the same habits. If you don't want to go, I wouldn't. Since you are pregnant, you will definitely need the love %26amp; support of family and friends. If you move to Florida (when you don't want to) you will resent the fact that he 'made' you move away from everyone else you care about and this will be compounded by the emotional roller coaster of pregnancy. I think it's his way of getting you more under his control. There's nothing wrong with getting to know a parent, but why just up and move across the country for a relationship that has no guarantee on working out? I say put your foot down and tell him that you aren't going and explain to him the reasons why. If he still wants to go, it sounds to me like you're better off without him anyway! You're still young and life's too short to be stuck with someone who doesn't want the same things as you and is making you more unhappy than happy. Good Luck with your decision!
why aint yall married already? have you actually set down and talked to him about? i say stay with your family and friends. instead of movieing to florida yall just go visit.
you may have to get away now if you are going to go somewere you do not like it will be hell.
While I would encourage him to meet his father. It sounds more like he is running from problems. Right now you need all the support you can get. I would advise staying where you are. You two really need to sit down and talk about it. Tell him why you feel the way you do and encourage him to do the same. By the way having a bad temper has nothing to do with not having a father as a role model.

Looking for some advice on how to handle a tricky situation to get a girl and advice would be appreciated?
The background info basically is that she is a family/childhood friend who I grew up with. It's funny cause I was around six when she was like four and she would always take me by the hand and want to play or hug me etc. I pretty much lost touch with her, until I ran into her a couple times at parties over the summer, and it was nice we talked etc etc. Needless to say we aren't kids anymore I'm 20 she's 18. Problem is one I don't have her number or know anybody that has hers. the only thing i have is her myspace, and i'm not gonna ask a girl out like that cause it seems idiotic. And the other problem is that I go away to school in like a week and probably won't be back until december so there's not gonna be much oppurtunity to do anything. So I'm basically approaching it from the sense that I gotta get her number, talk to her try to build on it and all, and pretty much just wait it out and see what happens. any advice on how to go about the whole thing would be appreciated. thanksLooking for some advice on how to handle a tricky situation to get a girl and advice would be appreciated?
Send her a message (not a comment) on her Myspace and tell her that it was good seeing her this summer and ask her for number. Tell her you are going off to school soon, but would like to get together for coffee or dinner (whatever) before you go. Go slow and see where that leads.

I want to get a little puppy maltese...any advice?
what is its nature?
how many times a day should i feed it? what should i feed it besides dog food?
how many times to walk the dog? since i have a busy schedule...but im very responsible and would give the dog lots of love and attention.
I want to get a little puppy maltese...any advice?
please save a shelter dog go to www.petfinder.com and find a dog that you can adopt and save his life!! sad to say there are alot to choose from :(I want to get a little puppy maltese...any advice?
If you want a TRUE Maltese puppy, look up the local breed club in your area. They can put you in touch with reputable breeders...SO NOT BUY FROM A PUPPY MILL OR BYB OR PET STORE!!!
Maltese are GREAT little dogs with wonderful dispositions UNLESS THEY ARE UNTRAINED in which case they can be little terrors. Take her to puppy class, obedience, etc.
With puppies, feeding 3 equal meals a day is recommended. Once they are old enough (I would say, from personal experience) about 3 months old, feed twice perday.
NOTHING other than HIGH QUALITY PUPPY FOOD for the first while (if you can buy it at Walmart or in a grocery store, it's CRAP FOOD!!!!).
GO to the local pet food store. THey can help you. Yes, it costs a lot more but the quality of the nutrition is there. There is NO NEED TO FEED ';MUSH'; (CANNED FOOD - bad for theit teeth - kibble or ';raw diet'; is best). Later on you can ad stuff like raw carrots, apple, etc BUT NO TABLE SCRAPS!!!
Walking the puppy..or letting her out...
Rule of thumb...they can only hold it for 1 hour per month of age (plus one hour)...I personally never tried the ';plus one hour'; to be on the safe side. So...when I got my puppy, I got up in the middle of the night, twice, to put her out....The older she got, the less frequently UI had to do this.
Crate training is also a good idea but the crate has to be the right size...too big and they will ';mess in it';...If you want more info on this, you can e-mail me.
If your schedule is too busy for a puppy, consider a rescue dog (I have 3)....however, ask the right questions....if the dog is not housebroken, you might as well get a puppy since it mayl take longer to teach the rescue dog if it is an adult.
Good luck to you.
very friendly and cute dogs, they dont require lots of walking since they are small but must walk atleast once a day. feed him only purina healthy dog food

You have some tough choices. One, I was a single mother of two for a time and while difficult, it can be done and is done everyday in America. Your son will not by definate end up with a bad temper if you leave the father. With communication and active parenting by you that can change. I just wanted to give a quick answer right now. I'll add more later when I am not so distracted by my own 4 children. They just got home from school. I say in a nut shell you need to do what is best for you and your children. If that means staying where you are and leaving your bf then do it. I'll add more, I promise.I need all the advice I can get..please read further?
hi girl srry 4 wats happening to u i think 4 my advice u should stay in michigan because that where all ur friends and family live and if u move to florrdia u probably have to get new friends and never probably see ur family again. so i would stay in michigan where ur peoples is!
Either compromise or move on. He should care more about you than not likeing cold weather. Getting irritated with your son after a scant hour isent a good sign either. Your kids wouldnt hate you for taking them away, possibly the'd be resentfull as teenagers, but as adults they'd understand. Look to family or friends for help. 24 is not to old to ask parents for help. I hope things turn out well.
Well...i think that you should ask you r boyfriend to stay until you have your little baby, then ask...beg your parents to help take care of the kids for awhile while you go with your bf to Florida until he finds his father then head home to take care of the children. Maybe he is tired of being around ';People he hates'; then go every once and a while back to Florida. If he has a bad temper...be careful not to make him too mad...or course. Yea..i know my advice really sucks...sorry. I really wish i could help you better!!
Best of luck to you and your children.
You need to make the decision yourself. You are the pregnant one here and you are the one who needs to be comfortable and situated. You seem very mature and able with or without your boyfriend. You both need to stick it out and ask friends and family for help financially or taking care of your children. I'm sure they will help.
It really sounds like your boyfriend could use some serious counseling. Anger issues, threatening to leave you. But, then again, it sounds like you could both use some counseling. He seems to have some serious issues that he is dragging you into and exporting to you, and those definitely need some resolution. He is making you out to be the bad guy when it is really he who does not have his act together. He acts as if he has more responsibility to find self fulfillment (whether it be by finding his father or expressing his anger at his kid(s)) rather than be a responsible father himself and a decent human being.
All that said, I do not imply anything in my previous words to answer the question of moving to Florida or not. You two have a lot of issues to work out before you get that far.
PS If he really loves you, he will marry you. Love is not an emotion that makes us feel all warm and fuzzy (I know, I have been married for 6 years), it is a commitment to stand by someone when things are really difficult and totally stink, whether or not we are happy or find it fulfilling.
God bless you in Christ. I am praying for you.

How do i get a girl to go out with me? any advice?
i have alittle trouble talking to girls and i was wondering if anyone had any advice to help me out......How do i get a girl to go out with me? any advice?
You can't 'get' someone to go out with you necessarily. You can, however, ask if they would like to join you at some activity. Do you have any hobbies? Asking a girl to come to something that you enjoy is the best way to show a girl you - at your best. All you have to do is get over the nervous feeling you get when you want to approach someone, and the rest will fall into place =)How do i get a girl to go out with me? any advice?
Ok, lol don't whip your dick out that's for sure. If you are shy then that's fine alot of girls find that to be very cute, but after awhile if only for a second you need to get out of that shy stage go up to that girl you like start talking get to know her and if its meant to be its meant to be. If not there are plenty of other girls out there babe. Just have a little courage and some patients and you'll be just fine.
Lol... It depends on how old you are. xD;
Don't pretend you're all that and kewl. Girls hate that. Be yourself.
If there's anyone specific, just talk to her. Don't make it obvious you like her.
Stare her in the eyes. Smile. For those times you don't need to talk.... But don't stare too long, that's a 'lil creepy. x3;
No weird pick-up lines if you don't wanna get slapped.
Just ask to hang out after a while [or ask for a date if you already hang out regularly] and see how it goes.
That's all I'm gonna say... There's so many things.
Tell her that you would like to hang out with her sometime. Take her out to eat or just go out and do something fun together so things won't seem so awkward. Get to know her as a friend and then build up to the point to where you and her would like to go out together.
every guy thinks that girls are intimidating but we are just like guys with more emotions... talk to her, be yourself, have a good convo and leave, do this a few times then ask her out... she'll be more ready, and more comfortable

Hmmm, Well sometimes when I don't think I can talk to someone I write a note or if you are just embarrassed of the people around them, phone her. You may want to get her flowers or something that it would be hard for her to turn you down.
most guys have trouble talking to girls the best thing to do is be yourselff and spend longer time fixing your hair for exasmple use hairgell, spike it up, get some tips, get a new wardrobe, in the end 1 gal will tikle ur fancy :)
well talk to her about what you like and see if you have anything in common joke around be friends at first then if all goes good ask if you can take her to the movies, old! trick girls love flowers, when you pick her up give her flowers
if ur having trouble talking with them try having a friend go with you. u'll probably feel more comfortable. just try to be cool and as people say';be yourself';. u gotta be really relaxed around this girl to ask her out.
be yourself, don't be mean, try not flirting while you aske her out cuz the girl may get annoyed.....umm...Be generous, for instance try to get to know her, and i guess thats it lol...=D
Boost your confidence by telling yourself, ';I am the most confident person in the world. I can ask out [insert name here] with ease.';
Trust me. It'll help.
Girls are attracted to confidence no matter what you look like. But then if you had my hair you just need to show up and there all over you
be funny but cool
smooth but not pervish
in other words girls like guys who can make them laugh adn be sensitive but dont be a wimpy *****

Try talking to her , asking her if she wants to go out to the movies or somthing . If your to shy you could always text her , or talk with her online ! Just be confident no matter what !
just call her. tell her that sh is beauty or something.
be yourselft+courage=happiness
just find the right time and everything will go fine
Buy her something....like flowers. Girls like gifts. Try it.

I've been walking for 1hr, 4 times a week ..trying to get in shape and need advice!?
What else should I do in addition to walking 4 times a week? When will I see results? Will I get in shape by New years? What foods should I eat more of , less of and NONE of? Can I have a slice of pizza with lemonade for lunch today? I have been eating quite healthy lately except for last night when I was hungary and over ate! Yesterday I had eggs( no yolk) with wheat bread and orange juice..then I had an apple with a few almonds...and for dinner I had rice, chicke, and pasta! Alot of it ! Did I screw up???I've been walking for 1hr, 4 times a week ..trying to get in shape and need advice!?
drink lots of water, if you can run or jog for the smae distance- you lose more liquid fat.
work out- lifting and over all workouts- abbs....
it is not bad to eat a bid meal for dinner, but it would be alot better to have like 5 small meals- they can be very small.I've been walking for 1hr, 4 times a week ..trying to get in shape and need advice!?
I just posted a routine on my free webpage.

Great work out in addition to your walking.
this site will help you find out what's right for you. if you eat fiber at meals, you will stay fuller longer and won't overeat as much. remember, portion size is the most important thing. one slice of cheese pizza isn't bad, but add toppings or eat more than 1 slice and you add tons of calories.
First figure out your daily calorie intake, there is a certain amount of calories per day that you need to maintain your weight. Example, maybe you need 2500 calories a day to maintain your weight, if you ran for an hour which might equal 400 calories burned and you ate 2900 calories for that whole day, which turns out to be 2500 calories to maintain your weight, you will be on your way to NO results. figure out your daily calorie intake and how many calories you burn a day. You need to eat 300 to 500 calories less of your daily calorie intake for a healthy weight lose. This is truly the key to loosing weight. I have so much more information that I could give you but it would take me forever to write it down
Drinking water is really key, and I saw results from just drinking water almost immediatley. Walking is a great exercise, and I saw results within weeks.
Try running for a few minutes every 30 minutes or so during your walk, or try to find areas with an incline for better resistance. I read about it, and it give me more energy when I do it.
Everyone screws up their diet now and again. Today is a new day, so get back on that wagon! It's the long-term that matters, here.
If you can, see a personal trainer and learn how to add resistance training (lifting small weights) to your workout routine. You'll firm up, and the extra muscle will help you burn more fat.
Also, don't be afraid to shake up your workout routine a little. Maybe substitute a night of dancing or a day trip by canoe once in a while. It will prevent boredom and help reduce the ';plateau effect';-when you stop seeing results because your body is used to your workout.
