This means A LOT of cardio!! Running, biking, jogging, swimming you name it buddy!
Secondly... Nutrition!! If you're going to be training real hard, you're going to have to be filling up the tank with a lot of carbs and protein. Btw... if I could recommend something I would advise you to train in the morning. Why? If you train in the morning it will force you to have a great breakfast (very important) and it will speed up your metabolism for the entire day. Meaning those heavy meals you'll be eating wont be sticking around as fat.
For now focus mostly on your cardio..... stamina is key for any new boxer. Later on you can begin to focus on your strength, technique etc...
Good luck bro and train safe!I want to start getting conditioned for boxing, any advice on what things I could do?
Join a gym if you are not part of one already but if not then you need to start running and doing sit ups and you're gonna need equipment such as a heavy bag, speed bag double end bag and a sparring partner, because you can be in shape but to be in boxing shape is a whole different thing.I want to start getting conditioned for boxing, any advice on what things I could do?
Plenty of roadwork, sit up rope and bag but most important stance balance and defense and speed
go to a boxing gym and get a trainer
