Does anyone have any advice on how to get ';toned'; ? I'm 19 yrs. old, 5'5';, (short, I know) and I weight 122 lbs. I really want to get toned and have a ';defined'; body but I'm not sure how to get toned/cut. Any help would be appreciated, thanksDoes anyone have any advice on how to get ';toned';?

I just hired a trainer a couple weeks ago, and come to find out, everything i thought was buring the fat and building muscle tone, was so WRONG!! He told me, never do cardio first, always weight train first to burn off the sugars THEN do cardio to burn off the fat.... and if you think going a hundred miles on the tredmill will burn off your fat faster... WRONG again.... if you dont keep in your target heart rate zone and end up going above it, you dont burn fat, you end up buring off your muscle..... boy did i need a wake up call!!!
I just started working out to Taebo Amped and with that workout you use a 3lb weighted bar. I started on Dec 26th and I am really getting toned. I have never been toned in my life. It has even helped me get rid of cellulite in some areas of my body. Hope this helps.
